Master's Message

Brethren and Guest,

A few weeks ago, many of us gathered around a television to watch the ball drop in Times Square and mark the beginning of a new year, 2013.  Many of us made resolutions the may have since been forgotten or are hanging on by a thread.  While we start every other year very much like the last, with a sense of renewed faith and excitement for what lies ahead, this year is a little different for me.  A month ago, I stood in a room with many of the Brethren that have made Juniata Lodge, and freemasonry a very large part of their lives, and learned what it truly meant to be a part of something much bigger than myself. .. FREEMASONRY!!

This fraternity has become a huge part of the area, thanks to the tireless effort of the gentlemen that represent it.  I am privileged to be amongst those ranks.  The coming months, I have little doubt; will prove to very rewarding and an educational experience of a life time.  I am surrounded by a wealth of knowledge and many eager and willing individuals to assist me in making sure our Lodge continues to flourish.

We have a busy year ahead of us.  Planning has already taken place for a ladies night to be held in April.  Due to the major success of the 200 club fundraiser and our subsequent donations to various area causes, we have decided to plan a repeat event for the month of June.  As always, we will honor our years of service members and our Past Masters throughout the year.  We have several interesting programs lined up as well.  While I’m sure the year will fly by due to its busy nature, I’m certain it can be another successful one as I’m surrounded by the best officers and members a Master could ask for.  I’ll be looking on to many of you for suggestions, guidance, and support as the next several months pass.

Words cannot express how honored I am to serve as your Master and to earn the faith and trust that you all have already bestowed upon me.  I look forward to seeing you all at our stated meetings!!!

Sincerely and Fraternally,

Adam J. Nileski, W.M.
